Get-together Party in Piato (Sat 12 June)

Get-together party will take place at 19-23 in the lobby of Agora and in the adjacent Piato restaurant. Buffet dinner and outdoor games!

Boat Cruise with s/s Suomi (Mon 14 June)

Boat Cruise to Lake Päijänne leaves from Jyväskylä Harbour at 19:00. Guided walk to the harbor will start in front of the hotel Alba at 18:30. Dinner will be served during the cruise and cash bar is available. Boat returns to Jyväskylä at 22:00.

Outdoor Excursion to Leivonmäki National Park Followed by a Farewell Party (Wed 16 June)

Bus departs from the ICA Workshop lecture halls at 12:00 to Leivonmäki for an afternoon hike. It is recommended that you wear proper shoes for hiking and prepare for showers of rain. If you wish to swim, bring also a towel and a swimsuit. Accompanying people from the Dept. Biology and Environmental Sciences  at University of Jyväskylä will provide more insight on the birds and plants and ecosystems we are to encounter. Small snack is available during the bus trip and Finnish style open fire cuisine with sausages and beer will be served during the hike. Bus will drive us back to Hotel Alba (and to hotels in the center) around at 17:30.

After the hike there will be an opportunity to enjoy Finnish smoke Sauna at Savutuvan apaja. Bus departs from Hotel Alba at 18:30. After the Sauna, dinner and the feast the bus returns to Jyväskylä around 23:00.
